About Us

Long-time residents of Lilburn, Kyle and Doug Wright bought this Old Historical Building in the Heart of Old Town Lilburn in 2001.  With Kyle’s background in catering, they opened the Blue Rooster Café and Bakery in 2002.  ( and Doug has turned out to be a really great cook!)

There are many reasons we live and work in Lilburn, but the most important are our daughters and extended family – all of whom are very active in the close-knit Lilburn community and also in the day to day operations of the Blue Rooster.  So I guess you can say we really do Eat, Live and Breathe Lilburn – It’s a great place to be!
